Snow. We have lots of it today. That often happens when it warms up, and this week is no exception. But it’s still cold enough for the snow to form drifts, and when it’s sunny, that creates some wonderful “sparkling” images.
The drifts remind me of the sand in Wadi Rum.
Perhaps not identical, but very similar – and most certainly the opposite.
Okay, maybe I’m stretching the point here, but I can’t help but think of the desert warmth when I look out my window and see this…
And it’s hard to believe I could be swimming in a few months when I see this.
I think I must be ready for spring.
Hah! This is my first winter in New England so I’m definitely feeling the exact same vibes right now. Keep thinking warm! π
