If a rainbow is good luck, then this must be twice as lucky. I’m not sure about that, but I do know it was twice as impressive.

Most Cool! The thing I like about double rainbows is that the colours of the second are the mirror of the first/primary (something about double refraction that I haven’t tried to wrap my mind around). The distance between the two is great, but then it is out West …
I had never actually noticed that the colours in the second rainbow were reversed. And I’m supposed to be a physicist. Thanks for pointing that out.
You know, the same day you posted this pic we were at soccer practise and a double rainbow appeared. It was amazing and reminded me of home – we saw them often in Saskatchewan but this was BC! One rainbow is uncommon, two unheard of.
