When I was in Jordan, I saw many things I had not expected to see. I saw lush green hills and flowers everywhere; on trees, thistles, and even cactus. I saw rain storms, and heard thunder, but I didn’t see a rainbow. This picture was taken in rural Saskatchewan. I know, I know – you’re thinking that pretty much all of Saskatchewan is rural, but let’s not go there now. It was probably the most impressive rainbow I have ever seen, anywhere.

That is totally cool … and posted on our Mom’s birthday. She was the eternal “Saskatchwan booster” so it is fitting …..I think she would come back to kiss the land she loved!!!!
Thanks for the thought Joan – it is rather fitting that I posted it on Mom’s birthday. The subconscious mind works in strange ways. And as for kissing the land she loved, this was taken just after it had been raining, so she definitely would have kissed the land in thanks.
Yes she would have kissed it in thanks as she was such a positive person; but that kiss would have come after she kissed her kids (she did like us better than Saskatchewan, no? 🙂 Happy Mother’s Day Mom….
